Dance for inclusion: Flashmobs in Bratislava and Vienna!

Friday, December 16, 2011

END EXCLUSION celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December 2011 in many ways. Take a peek:

At the Bratislava Christmas Market 25 brave dancers in END EXCLUSION T-Shirts happily shook to the music and drew attention to our cause. Christmas shoppers and bystanders became curious to learn more about inclusion of persons with disabilities in developing countries.

We also rocked the Vienna main train station with our flash mob dance that attracted many fellow dancers and a rapidly growing audience.

Dialogue on disability and sexuality

In Amsterdam, researchers, international experts, people from Disabled People’s Organisations, NGOs and students gathered to talk about sexual and reproductive health and rights of persons with disabilities, the link between HIV and disability as well as frequently used concepts on disability and development.
